Week 13 – The Final

This week was our last week of Technology in Music Education. We spent the majority of the lesson working on our projects, however before we did that, James did a quick re-cap of this semester. We had a discussion about whether technology helps or hinders education. I spent most of the discussion trying to figure out my personal stance on this issue. I still haven’t figured it out completely, because I feel like there are many different things that need to be taken into consideration. I also think that arguments can be made for both of these stances – technology helping and hindering. My personal opinion probably won’t be decided on until many many years mulling over this. I have really enjoyed this unit, and believe it will be very beneficial if I ever pursue a career in education.
