We started off the lesson by pitching our ideas for our tech project to the rest of the class. As mentioned in a separate blog post, a fellow classmate and I decided to do our project together! We pitched to the class that we were going to make our own theremin and create a unit of study to accompany it, so that teachers would be able to use it in a classroom.
After our pitches, the rest of lesson was super fun! We got to play around with heaps of different technology gadgets! Some of the things that we had the opportunity to look at included: a Makey Makey; multiple different Jaycar short circuits; an Edison robot; a build your own theremin; and Little bits synth. This was helpful for a lot of people after having just pitched their technology assessment ideas.
