Today, we spent the majority of our time looking at issues surrounding copyright. I didn’t come out of the lesson with a clearer understanding about these issues – I think I might’ve been even more confused by everything. What I did learn, however, was that there is a massive grey area when it comes to copyright issues. How far is too far is really open to interpretation. What I learnt was that the decisions I make surrounding these issues come down to my morals. How far am I willing to venture into the grey area? Do I think I am doing something for the right reasons? Am I prepared to face consequences if something is to happen involving these issues?
We looked at one website we can use when it comes to free images, and that website is Pixabay. People submit photos and other related content to the website and allow people to use them without the need to worry about copyright.
